Pack your gear, fuel up, and get ready for a cracker day out as the GWM Tank 4WD Club of Queensland heads into the stunning Mount Mee State Forest and the iconic Rocky Hole on Saturday, 25th July 2026!
Nestled in the D'Aguilar Range just north of Brisbane, Mount Mee State Forest offers some of South East Queensland's most rewarding off-road terrain — cool mountain air, sweeping valley views, and trails that'll put your Tank through its paces. Whether you're a seasoned wheeler or still building your trail confidence, this is a day trip you won't want to miss.

Format: Single-day trip
Trip Rating: ⚠️ EASY / MODERATE Suitable for most 4WD vehicles with high/low-range capability. Some sections may present light challenge, but we travel together at a comfortable pace ensuring everyone gets home with a smile.

- Location: The Arthur Duncan Carpark, Mount Mee
- Arrival Time: 9:30 AM
- Briefing: 9:45 AM sharp — safety briefing, trip overview, and convoy information

Coordinates and a Google Maps pin will be shared with all registered members in the lead-up to the event.
Exact routing will be confirmed closer to the date based on track conditions and weather.
💰 Costs
- Entry / Park Fees: Nil (State Forest — no permit required)
- Fuel: BYO — plan for a full day of off-road driving
- Food & Drinks: BYO lunch, snacks, and plenty of water
- This is a FREE club event — just show up ready to wheel!
✅ What to Bring
- Full tank of fuel + recovery gear (snatch strap, shackles, traction boards)
- BYO lunch, snacks & drinks (including plenty of water — it's winter but you'll still need it!)
- Warm layers — Mount Mee can be genuinely cold in July
- First aid kit
- UHF radio tuned to Ch 28
- Good spirits and a sense of adventure!
